Problem recognizing VuMark

I've built a custom VuMark and everything seemed ok when exporting from illustrator. I took my marker svg and uploaded it to the TargetManager settings it width to 0.0762 (3 inches). I then went into the TargetManager and generated a custom marker embedded with some data and printed it (not scaled).

I've taken the core sample app from the Unity store and tested to make sure the demo VuMark assets worked. Which they did. I then imported my custom VuMark Database.. Activated it and added a new VuMark GameObject to the Scene and set it to use my custom VuMark.

Sadly it is not recognized and I don't get any feedback in the console that there was any issues. I do see in the console that the custom VuMark database was loaded. I feel like this is a problem with my VuMark but I don't know what to do to try and fix it. Hoping someone on the Vuforia side can help tell me what's wrong. Happy to send my marker AI file but would prefer to do that over DM.

Can anyone from Vuforia give me some advice on my VuMark?

Thanks!

Dylan

Hello Dylan,

When you say you "generated a custom marker," do you mean you generated an instance of your VuMark within the Target Manager?

Correct!

DM'ing the assets now, thanks Strasza. Appreciate you taking a look.

I was able to figure out my problem and it was related to how I interpreted the documentation as far as what was allowed for the clear space. I also found this video which helped enormously. Why this is not embedded in the documentation pages for VuMarks is a major over sight IMO.

Hey Dylan,

I'm glad to hear you were able to get it to work. I'll bring it up with the team to include that video within the documentation.

Thanks,
