Vumark AR setup?

Can VuMarks be used to generate an AR experience?  I have seen some that appear to be done.  But there is not a sample or tutorial ANYWHERE on the internet.  All I have seen is the VuMark sample in the core samples, but all that does is display the information found on the VuMark.

 

I would like to see an example scene of a VuMark that generates an AR experience, like an image target.  Is that possible?

I am facing the same issue. no idea how to make VuMark works with AR.

Hi Thanks for the feedback - but it did not work,  I am using the teacup vuforia package and then built on top of that.  I did not import the Vuforia 6-2-10 Unity Package.  I have spent a month on this project and it has to be something as simple as you suggested in the reply.  

What does not make sense is when you generate the instance are you supposed to put that back into the database for it to be downloaded into the data set?  Or does the coding on the Vumark in the dataset tell Unity how to read any instance of the vumark?

Hello,

This is possible. Enable the Track from Appearance option in the VuMark prefab inspector settings. This will extract keypoints from the artwork detail in the design area to create a trackable. Thus, tracking performance will be based upon the level of detail (similar to an Image Target).
