Vumark width (HoloLens)

Hey, i am new to vuforia development with MS Hololens. I created a new Vumark Database and uploaded a svg file. Everything works fine. I am confused about the width input field at the upload dialog. What do i have to fill in there? Is a correct value important? You can adjust the width of the Vumark in Unity, so... why give it a width in the upload dialog?
