Unable to install Vuforia support, Unity on OSX

January 10, 2020 - 11:51am #1

Vuforia SDK Version: 8-6-7 -

Description with steps to reproduce: I just installed the latest Unity Hub, downloaded from Unity, and am following tutorial instructions to set up a Vuforia project. I'm told that in Player settings I should check "Vuforia Augmented Reality" under XR Settings. I don't have a checkbox, just a link under "XR Support Installers". That takes me to a download of UnitySetup-Vuforia-AR-Support-for-Editor-2018.4.15f1.pkg

Unity Vuforia OBB app issue after upload to Google Play Market

January 2, 2020 - 2:09pm #1

Vuforia SDK Version: 8.3.8 -

Description with steps to reproduce: I would really appreciate any help or suggestions where to look cause I'm a bit lost after a few days of googling this.

I've made an app with three scenes in Unity with Vuforia (language selection, introduction, AR marker recognition). I had to use obb file to separate the content due to Google Play Market limitations.

Vuforia SDK Version: 8.5.9 -

Description with steps to reproduce: Unity 2019..2.15.f1
I made a project with 8.5.9: ok
I saw a popup asking me to download the new version, what I did.
Compile error:
uses-sdk:minSdkVersion 16 cannot be smaller than version 19 declared in library [:VuforiaWrapper:]
Suggestion: use a compatible library with a minSdk of at most 16,
or increase this project's minSdk version to at least 19,
or use tools:overrideLibrary="com.vuforia.engine.app" to force usage (may lead to runtime failures)

Failed To Initialize Vuforia

December 4, 2019 - 3:47pm #1

Vuforia SDK Version: 6.2.10 -

Description with steps to reproduce: Hello. I've had my app out for over a year called myARgalalxy - Solar System. It's been working fine until recently - where it now gets a "Failed To Initialize Vuforia" message and does not load. It's been working so not sure what happened to make this go down - did the API get removed? Is it possible to get this fixed without having to release a new version? I'm getting complaints about this and people are returning the AR cards so it's affecting us in a big way. Any help is appreciated! -

Vuforia SDK Version: 8.1.10 -

Description with steps to reproduce: I've just integrated Vuforia in our project. First it worked perfectly for scanning.

But today when I added the ARCore support according to https://library.vuforia.com/content/vuforia-library/en/articles/Solution/arcore-with-vuforia.html in order to add Ground Floor tracking, the camera feed started to lag extremely on our test device.
