Printing a large format version of the Vuforia Object Scanner target

September 26, 2017 - 5:34am #1

Hello,

There have been infrequent requests on the forums for the ability to print the Vuforia Object Scanner target to sizes larger than the currently recommended maximum printable size of A3 with the 5.5.11 version of the tool.

Attached are updated versions of the Object Scanner target. These PDFs are scalable as they contain a vectorized image, instead of a bitmap. This means you can now print it to any scale without degradation.

Best method to recognize a face

November 30, 2020 - 6:30am #1

I am looking for advice on the best way to track a face for a research project.  Model targets work for object recognition of the whole face when scanned with a 3d scanner and trained on that scan.  But we would like tracking to work when the mouth and nose are obscured.

I have also tried using image targets with 3 QR codes placed on the forehead and cheeks which seems to not work as well as the model target.

Static camera but the tracking is shaky

November 24, 2020 - 5:48am #1

Hi, community,

I am using Vuforia Object Scanner to track a JoyCon. The training process went more or less OK, point cloud and all, according to the data from this screenshot:

Recognising a door

November 19, 2020 - 5:58am #1

Hi everyone,

So the project that im working on is to play a video or an animation within the frame of a door. I've some problems recognising the frame...

I've used the standard image recognision where we take the image of the door and overlay it with the video or the animation but when i take a look at the door from a different angle it has problems recognising it.

Any advice on how i should approach this problem?

ImageTarget Recognition after the scene starts..

November 3, 2020 - 9:15pm #1

Hi, I'm new with Vuforia.

Since I've started developing AR Project with Vuforia, I found the issue with the Image-target recognition.

The condition I'm in is like this.

- Many objects with heavy volume (e.g. 400Mb ~ 600Mb).

- But they are all in different scenes (When I put all those objects in one scene, the app goes away...)

- The AR Camera will be used to recognize real objects with natural light.

- Using SmartGlasses(UVC) to recognize the Image-target.

And the issue on the recognition is like below:

Is Some Shaking Normal?

September 15, 2020 - 2:52pm #1

Hello,

I am using same 3D models on both image target and 2 different object targets.

On object targets my models are shaking but not shaking on image target.

I am using a 12 cm width animal figure and a PVC rectangular keychain as object targets to test.

Is shaking normal on object tracking?
