Printing a large format version of the Vuforia Object Scanner target

Hello,

There have been infrequent requests on the forums for the ability to print the Vuforia Object Scanner target to sizes larger than the currently recommended maximum printable size of A3 with the 5.5.11 version of the tool.

Attached are updated versions of the Object Scanner target. These PDFs are scalable as they contain a vectorized image, instead of a bitmap. This means you can now print it to any scale without degradation.

How to display object model in specified position in vuforia unity?

I just want to show object in a specified position.

Suppose i have car toy as my object model and i only want to show  wheels of that car at the same position where  wheels supposed to be there.

 

How can i achieve that accuracy in my app in unity.

Object Recognition not working in-engine

Hi all,

I have seen multiple posts with the same question, but still no solution.

 

I have used the Android Object Scanner app, scanned and tested the target. Tests work well, and the target is detected in the app.

 

Downloading the .od file, creating a database, and downloading the Unity package version of the database into Unity, the object recognition never works. It works great with image targets, so is not a webcam or Vuforia issue.

Target image with different background not detected

I have created a target image as back.png and when i used the same target image for testing, the image got recognized,but when i use the same target image with different background back1.png the image is not getting recognized?can someone help to solve this?

The distance from the trackable to the camera

I am new to Vuforia so I started with the SampleApplication in Android with Java. What I am trying to achieve is to recognize some object and compute the position of the object to the camera. Like how far is this object to the device.

Position update during tracking

Hello There,

 

We developed an object tracking application under Vuforia 7.1 and Hololens. This application works well when user holding a specific object or image and move them around. Virtual target will follow such movement immediately. But after migrated the application to Hololens2 (Vuforia 9.0.12), there is significant latency between the movement of real object or image and the movement of virtual object. The latency is more severe when object is rotating or tilting.

object fixed in space and does not update its position

We have the following problem with a Unity application that implements Vuforia as an RA engine. We have an Image Target with Extended Tracking Positional. Vuforia detects the image well and renders the 3D object following the image if it is within the camera's viewing angle. The problem occurs when the Image Target leaves the camera's viewing angle, in this case the 3D object is fixed in space and does not update its position when moving the camera, but moves with the camera with a position fixed

Using own AI model for image recognition in Unity

Hello, what I want to do is to inject my own trained model for image recognition into Vuforia while using Unity.

All I know is that Vuforia uses a feature points detection algorithm, and that you can train a deep learning model using the Model Target Generator. I looked into the scripts in Unity in case something can be overridden, but did not find anything useful.

Is there a way to do this ?
