Printing a large format version of the Vuforia Object Scanner target

Hello,

There have been infrequent requests on the forums for the ability to print the Vuforia Object Scanner target to sizes larger than the currently recommended maximum printable size of A3 with the 5.5.11 version of the tool.

Attached are updated versions of the Object Scanner target. These PDFs are scalable as they contain a vectorized image, instead of a bitmap. This means you can now print it to any scale without degradation.

Hello, I need to know if there is any way to know by code if an object is loaded on the screen, my application detects the image target and by the start delay of each object, each object is displayed on different times, I need to know by code if an object is already shown on the screen or not, thanks

Video delay on porpouse

Hi!

I need to delay the start of a video by 2 seconds when recognizing the target.

Because in not very fast phones there is a lag when loading the AR video and the user loses the first few seconds.

Any New leads on Zoom in Functionality?

Google led me to a couple of posts from back in 2014-2016 and the general consensus was that Vuforia did not support Zoom in functionality. Have any changes been made with regards to that?

 

If not anyone got any nifty solutions (other than walking closer to the target/making target bigger)?

Show object with delay

Only 1 Object Detected

I am using Vuforia for object recognition. Right now, I am trying to detect if 2 gears are being shown. I have a 138 point .CD file of the gear and and using 1 ObjectTarget in Unity to detect the gear. When compiled and ran on an Android (or ran on any other device), it is correctly able to detect 1 gear, but not 2. When I cover the first gear up, it is then able to detect the second gear, but when i uncover the gears, it detects only the first again.

Scanned object unity

Hi,

I'm experiencing issue with 3D scanned object. When I finish scanning object with Vuforia app and test scanned object everything works fine. When I finish process for Unity and get into Unity no camera can detect that object (web cam, mac cam, phone cam...)

I'm using Unity 2019.2.0.f.1, vuforia 8.3.8

Any help or suggestion?

Stick Augmented Content When Detected

Hi, 

I am using Object detection feature of Vuforia to detect my CPU box. Once the box is detected, I want to place some AR content on it. For example, I want to show arrow call-outs from different ports of the CPU. Is there any way to stick the call-outs to certain place so that even when the camera position is changed, the callouts will remain to the same position where it was before. Or is there any way to re-size automatically the AR content (eg. arrows) when the phone is zoomed in or out. Please help me to achieve this case.

Which is more robust, model or multi target tracking?

I'm looking to design a tracking object that is to remain stationary but able to be viewed at different angles. Which is the more robust tracking method, the use of a model target or a multi-target? My initial inclination was to design a sophisticated multi-target using a polyhedron and multiple QR codes. This looks non-trivial, however, and so the multi-target would likely be a cuboid with multiple QR codes. Would this be more or less robust than some other shape that could be tracked as a model? Thanks!
