Update to Vuforia 7 Known Issues

Hello all,


We updated our known issues for Vuforia 7 to include a recently discovered issue related to checking for Ground Plane device compatibility. The issue involves unsupported devices incorrectly returning true when being checked for 6DoF support. This issue is being addressed in a Vuforia 7 patch that will be available in the next few weeks.

Large 3d in GroundPlane problem

I am currently trying to show a large model with ground plane tracking.

The model is big(9m). But the problem is that the model floats in air and follows the camera when I move forward or backward.

Is there any problem with big 3ds ground  tracking?

When i scale down the 3d object to fit the ground plane (1x1) all works fine.

Is there any case to face that problem because the object is too big to fit the size of the place i tested?

Any suggestion could be very helpful,this is so important for my app

Ground Plane works with ViSlam ?

Hi,

I'm trying to use Ground Plane without ARcore. But it doesn't work, on a Xiami redmi note 5.

But the device tracker does work.

 

My device doesn't support ViSlam? or Ground Plane dont work with ViSlam?

Hello!

My Ground Plane is working only when the Sample Image is detected, otherwise its not working.

I want to change that image with my designed one, but remain in ground plane mode..!

The sample image is attached.!

Unity + Ground Plane + ARCore

Hello,

 

We have a Unity (2019.3.12F) app with Vuforia (9.0.12), in order to support ARCore (Vuforia packaged 1.10.0) as a fallback for devices not supported by Vuforia Fusion we have set Unity' Vuforia configuration to "REQUIRED" and toggled on "Include ARCore Library".

GOAL: Our goal is to have users place an object in AR across as many supported devices as possible. 

 

We are using Ground Plane, and have adapted the provided Ground Plane samples script to facilitate this (PlaneManager.cs)
