Hello all,

We updated our known issues for Vuforia 7 to include a recently discovered issue related to checking for Ground Plane device compatibility. The issue involves unsupported devices incorrectly returning true when being checked for 6DoF support. This issue is being addressed in a Vuforia 7 patch that will be available in the next few weeks.

ground plane in loaded scene?

I'm building an iOS app in which I load an AR scene built with Vuforia at runtime. After the scene is loaded, I instantiate a canvas prefab I created in the new scene with some UI buttons. The issue is that when you touch a button the touch is passed through to the underlying scene and triggers the ground plane causing an object to anchor. How do I prevent this behavior?

Multiple Object Placement

I am fairly new to Unity and Vuforia Development. But as per basic knowledge I understand that Vuforia AR Ground Plane works like this.

1. We add the AR Camera and add the license

2. We add the ground plane stage and add a gameobject to it

3. We add the plane finder and attach the ground plane stage to it.

Mid Air Stage - Change "tap to place object"

Hello together,

I have been searching for a while to change the "tap to place object" command on a Mid Air Stage. I want to change it to "press and hold" or something else. Is it possible to change that command? If yes, can someone guide me in the right direction?

iOS 14 ground plane

My app ground plane not working on Iphone 11 with iOS 14.0.1(and 14.1) 

Currently I'm using Vuforia 8.1.11. Will update to 8.3.8 fix that issue.?  ( I can't update higher version because of Unity version.

[EDIT]  I checked the release notes, and 9.3.3 version is fixing problem on IOS 14 associated with ARkit.  

Is it the minimum Vuforia version that can fix my issue?

Play user guide animation while tracking the ground plane

Can someone help me to add an user guide animation to point the camera to a flat surface while the "plane finder" tracking planes. I couldn't find any method to get the state of plane finder to do this.

Large 3d in GroundPlane problem

I am currently trying to show a large model with ground plane tracking.

The model is big(9m). But the problem is that the model floats in air and follows the camera when I move forward or backward.

Is there any problem with big 3ds ground  tracking?

When i scale down the 3d object to fit the ground plane (1x1) all works fine.

Is there any case to face that problem because the object is too big to fit the size of the place i tested?

Any suggestion could be very helpful,this is so important for my app
