Model Target on iOS not working well

I'm trying to make my application work on iOS devices, but I noticed a problem.

Vuforia seems to detect the object, but can't place on it my augmentation. All of the 3D models are shown correctly and all the functionalities work, but there is "no 3D", I see the assets locked in 2D (anyway, camera can be moved, I mean, the augmentation is not anchored to the camera).

Do I miss something in the build phase? Which is the problem?

NB: I tested before on Android and everything goes well.

3D scanned object problem

is this normal for a 3d scan toy car to be displayed in the model target generator. Also what settings should i use in order to display some graphics above it?

Hello Vuforia team,

I loaded the Vuforia example.

If I use the standard example of the Mars Rover as the model target, it works and it shows the outline of the model.

When I load my own model I don't see any outlines. I just switches the generated model, with the model generator!

Why is that, see screenshots in the attachment.

Vuforia 10.9 sdk and magic leap sample 10.9 request

I am currently developing for magic leap one and cannot find the Vuforia 10.9 sdk unity plugin anywhere as well as the magic leap sample version 10.9 to go with it. any help is greatly appreciated. If they are not available, please at least provide me with the magic leap sample version 9.8.

Limitation in dimensions of real object

Respected People,

I would like to have some information regarding the limitations of Vuforia model tracking capabilities in HoloLens 2.


1. What should be the minimum dimensions of the real object in all the directions (x,y,z) and the optimal range from which it should be tracked?

2. Can Vuforia track objects that are very small in dimensions, probably like a very small screw or a nut, if yes from what range is it possible?

Model Taget and AROcclusionManager

There seems to be a case where the combination of Model Target and Human Occlusion (AROcclusionManager on ARFoundation) does not work well.

As shown in this attached video, the hand itself seems to be recognized, but it seems to fail to determine the depth map.

This seems to occur frequently, especially on the iPad.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Note that when combined with Object Target (Vuforia 9.8), it works as expected.

Failed to create ModelTargetObserver: DATABASE_LOAD_ERROR.

My Unity version is 2021.3.9f1

My Vuforia version is 10.9.3

I'm using webcam on my laptop as AR camera. But each time I click on "play", the scene showed the webcam view without any guide view lines and object recognition. There's an error goes:

I have 2 questions:


  • Is possible to have two 3D model targets activated in 2 different game objects?
  • on the same image its possible to detect the same model target, two or more times?

MTG training issue

I updated MTG from 10.8 to 10.9.3.  I made new training database in it.  It trained successfully.  But once i click export button, only a zip file will be exported and without *.unitypackage.   And i can't unzip it. So How can i import it into Unity?
