Objects Overlapping even with Single Image Target

Hi All,

I've made a very simple app for iOS 16.2 with Unity and XCode 14.2, where I'm making a tiny book with different Image Targets/Objects on each page.

However, I'm experiencing an issue where if I turn the page, both objects are still visible, even though there should only be 1 object shown for the 1 visible Image Target.

I've attached 3 images, one showing both objects visible, another showing the objects overlapping (despite only 1 Image Target being visible to the camera), and a third showing my Vuforia settings in Unity.

I suspect this has to do with some sort of world positioning related matter, but I can't quite figure out how to fix this.

I have rendering settings to show objects only when Tracked, and this occurs even when I have Max Simultaneous Tracked Images set to 1.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey there,

 

I believe this is related to Engine trying to keep the target where it was last seen. I think that if you switch to "VISION_ONLY", you would not get into this issue. This can be done via Vuforia Fusion.

Virtual button on Model target

Is there a way we can virtual button to Model targets or 3D objects?

No, Virtual buttons can only be used with Image Targets.

Object Tracking not working in Vuforia 10.12

Hello,

I created a Unity project using Core Samples unity asset store and added the object marker created from Model Target Generator. Also changed the database and model target.

But still i am facing issues tracking the Object.

Instead of importing the model target database unity3d package created by MTG,

I want to change the model target behavior's database in real time using the database downloaded form web server.

ModelTarget was created by calling CreateModelTarget, but the database is not loaded. (EMPTY)

I'm inspired by the AreaTargets Test App for Andorid/iOS (https://developer.vuforia.com/downloads/tool#downloadModal) and

want to apply it to my app using model targets.

Please help me how to dynamically load the database of model target.

This issue is of different behavior between Vuforia Engine 9.8 and Vuforia Engine 10.0. This issue is impacting Vuforia Engine upgrade project. Below is additional updates.

Hello,

I require a bit of clarity on Premium Plan pricing for Model Targets. It is mentioned under pricing for model targets that the plan includes 500 target generations. 

Does this indicate the number of times the Model Target Generator could be used for creating model targets or the number of times that an app developed using model targets would recognize the physical object being viewed for augmentation?

Kindly clarify.

Model Target on iOS not working well

I'm trying to make my application work on iOS devices, but I noticed a problem.

Vuforia seems to detect the object, but can't place on it my augmentation. All of the 3D models are shown correctly and all the functionalities work, but there is "no 3D", I see the assets locked in 2D (anyway, camera can be moved, I mean, the augmentation is not anchored to the camera).

Do I miss something in the build phase? Which is the problem?

NB: I tested before on Android and everything goes well.

How is it possible at runtime to switch database of a Model Target in Unity ?

3D scanned object problem

is this normal for a 3d scan toy car to be displayed in the model target generator. Also what settings should i use in order to display some graphics above it?

Model target not workin

Hello Vuforia team, I loaded the Vuforia example. If I use the standard example of the Mars Rover as the model target, it works and it shows the outline of the model. When I load my own model I don't see any outlines. I just switches the generated model, with the model generator! Why is that, see screenshots in the attachment.

Vuforia 10.9 sdk and magic leap sample 10.9 request

I am currently developing for magic leap one and cannot find the Vuforia 10.9 sdk unity plugin anywhere as well as the magic leap sample version 10.9 to go with it. any help is greatly appreciated. If they are not available, please at least provide me with the magic leap sample version 9.8.
