In my use case there are multiple same cloud targets with different metadata. In case of recognition it results me any one of the targets metadata. Any other solution?

Hello,

For Cloud Licenses, it is one Cloud Database per license. Thus, each app that requires a Cloud Database will require a unique license. You cannot share a Vuforia license across multiple apps.

A Cloud Database cannot be created without a license. The user account only provides access to the databases and licenses.

No. As previously mentioned, one (1) app per license.

Hello medabit,

Thanks for your replies on my queries. Also one more query we have is, for a free vuforia account we can able to create multiple licenses and with each license we create one database. Now if we purchase for a cloud account that is 99$/mo, still can we create multiple licenses or for each license do we need to pay 99$/mo? Please clarify my query.

Is cloud account depends to App license or User account?

Can I use single cloud account plan to multiple apps(License)?

Hello,

Unfortunately, these are essentially the same image. The only difference that I can see is the text in the lower-right corner. Vuforia is not optimized for text - this includes our Cloud Reco service.

As the images are currently authored I know of no way for our product to differentiate on from the other. The only option would be to use a different image, but I'm guessing this is not possible as the book has already been printed?

Sorry we cannot be of more help.

Thanks,

These are the two images uploaded to the cloud. Both these images have different metadata. For example first image that carries a 3d model URL and the second one carries a video.  One page of the book has this image where we show a 3d model of this image and another page of the book has this image that explains about the functionality of the heart as a video. So how can i handle it?

Hello,

Depending upon the images themselves, and the amount of similarities between them, there is the possibility of editing the images uploaded to our cloud service such that they can be differentiated.

Can you provide an example of the images you want to differentiate?

Hi medabit,

Thanks for your reply. Thing is, we are working on cloud recognition for a book. Each images in the book carries different metadata like 3d model URL, audio URL, video URL etc., In a single book we have two similar images where one image has to load a video and another image has to load an audio. How can i identify the images and handle this case?

Hello,

Not sure I understand the use case here, but couldn't you just bifocate the metadata (via JSON or something) such that a single target carries multiple 'payloads' within the metadata?

You are correct in that if you use multiple, similar targets in a single database, the matching of that target will return random results within that set of targets.
