Hi guys
Now that Epic have released their engine for everyone will there be a version of the vuforia plugin for UE4?
Is it possible to integrate the current SDK?
Thanks
Haven't seen any new posts about Unreal Engine Integration. This is prety much a huge missing component with unreal engine, doing AR content. I think with the new pricing structure Unreal has, more developers will be looking to get Unreal's ease of content creation and visual quality paired with the latest augmented reality options. Wondering if there is any updates on vuforia being implemented for unreal engine 4. Thanks!
You may want to post your "+1" vote for Unreal Engine 4 in the Forum Wish List too, for better visibility:

You mean that we (users) could somehow achive integration usign existing SDKs? Or that it should be easy for you?
Anyway +1 for Unreal Engine 4 integration from me (I used full engine name as I accidentaly started new topic after failed search)
We will also not be looking at Unity 5 as UE4 is a vastly superior engine with much better workflow/tools and at a better price. I think vuforia integration would be a massive deal as many people are now moving over to UE4 now that it has been released to the masses.
I also think that integrating Vuforia tightly with the UE4 visual scripting tool Blueprint will be a huge benefit and time saver in workflow.
Thanks for your reports,
also, another good place where to put your request is the forum Wish List:

We are also looking for UE4 as it's a best value for the money when it comes to better end result with less hardwork on graphics for our architectural models.
If Vuforia could release a UE4 integration it'll be great! As we are currently working with UE4 and Unity4 but we aren't looking for Unity5.
Hi,
we are definitely looking at the UE engine with interest, and we will watch our developers requests to take them into consideration.
There is no official support for this engine at th moment, however the specs of UE suggests that the engine supports Android and iOS on OpenGL ES; given that the engine is based on C++, and Vuforia is also C++ and OpenGL ES based, technically it may be possible to achieve an integration of the UE engine with a Vuforia-base App, using the native C++ API of Vuforia.
Note however that this has not been tested, at present.
No updates on this, at present. If there is any update, we will announce it.
