Hololens Sample not building right

I have tried to build the Hololens Sample from the samples eyewear unity 6-2-10 and i get 2 errors after building in the Unity Editor but it still creates a Visual Studio project which doesn't work. The 2 errors i get are:

Reference Rewriter found some errors while running with command --target="Temp\StagingArea\Vuforia.UnityExtensions.dll" --additionalreferences="Temp\StagingArea","Temp\StagingArea\Plugins\x86","Temp\StagingArea\Plugins\x64","Temp\StagingArea\Plugins\x64","Temp\StagingArea\Plugins\x86" ....... goes on for a long time

and

Reference rewriter: Error: method `System.Void UnityEngine.RenderTexture::set_generateMips(System.Boolean)` doesn't exist in target framework. It is referenced from Vuforia.UnityExtensions.dll at System.Void Vuforia.DistortionRenderingBehaviour::CreateRenderTexture().

I am using unity 5.6.1f1, visual studio 2017 with visual studio tools for unity, and vuforia 6.2.10. Am I missing something?
