Integrating Cardboard to the AR/VR Sample error

June 27, 2016 - 2:12am #1

Hi everyone,

I am encountering a strange problem and I am clueless about what to do. I try to use second technique to integrate Google VR SDK to Vuforia. I open a new project add Vuforia package and rename manifest. Then I import Google VR SDK and encounter 3 errors. I can run vuforia without the SDK with no errors. But since I want to change the stereo viewport sizes I need to integrate Google VR SDK. Does anyone has a ny idea about this? Any help is appreciated.

This seems to be a known issue with the current Google SDK, the same issue is discussed here, with proposed solutions:

One thing that also works for me is to simply comment out the affected 3 lines of code in the EmulatorClientSocket script.

  • Which version of Unity?
  • Which version of Vuforia?
  • Which version of Google VR SDK are you using?
  • Do you have the Android Platform option installed in Unity?
