Hi @travisFGMNT,

The issue for the crash seems to be related to Unity 2019.3.14 and later on. We are working on a fix.

Please use an earlier version of Unity.

Thank you.

Hi,

I was *not* able to reproduce the crash.

The bug was raised for Metal not being used, although it is selected in Unity.

Could you please provide me the steps to reproduce with the Core Sample app? ( I also upgrade xcode and iOS to 13.5.1 and still was not able to reproduce the crash)

Thank you.

Does this mean you could replicate this on your end? It would be great to get confirmation so I can go back to my stakeholders with confirmation of this issue.

Both projects I experienced this crash on had orientation set to Portrait. However I just tried the core samples project with Default Orientation set to Auto Rotation and got the same error.

Hi @travisFGMNT,

I've also tested with the Core Sample app but was *not* able to reproduce the crash.

Unity 2019.3.3; Vuforia: 9.1.7; Iphone 11; iOS: 13.3.1 and Xcode: 11.3.1

I have raised a bug with the dev team regarding Metal not being used, although it is the only option in the player settings.

Could you please confirm if your force any screen orientation?

Thank you.

Just ran into this again running the basic Vuforia Samples project from the Asset store. Just imported it into a new project and built to device. First time: ran fine (reported OpenGLES 2.x as graphics api even though Auto API was selected). Then stopped the app then ran again in XCode and it threw the same error.

Unity 2019.3.15f1, XCode 11.4.1, Vuforia 9.1.7 (b 5534). iOS 13.4.1 iPhone XR

Hi @travisFGMNT

Thank you for the logs.

Could you please remove OpenGL ES 2.0 and add Metal?

Wondering if this has something to do with "pre granted access to camera" as even once I delete the app and reinstall via XCode it still logs this and does not show a prompt for allowing access to the camera.
