QCARWrapper.bundle codesign failed XCode

April 19, 2015 - 1:58pm #1

Hi everyone!

I develop an app with the lastet Vuforia version for Unity 5.0. I exported my project to XCode project but when I try to submit the application to App Store, XCode brings me a "Codesign failed" error and It appears when XCode try to codesigning QCARWrapper.bundle.

How I can fix it? How I can codesign QCARWrapper.bundle for submitting my app to App Store?

Thank you!

Thanks for confirming.

BTW:

the correct settings should be set as follows:

  • Change the settings of QCARWrapper.bundle in the Unity inspector from "Any Platform" to "Standalone + Editor" (i.e. tick both the Standalone and the Editor checkboxes).

Cheers --

Yes, exactly!

Although my app is for iOS device, I let the option "Standalone" in the inspector and it solve the problem.

I say that because, as you can see in the pictures, there are more optiones like "iOS" but I used with "Standalone" option cheked.

Thanks AGBMX17 for sharing this tip;

so, can you confirm these are the steps you have followed:

  • Select the QCARWrapper.bundle in the Unity Project view (located under Assets > Plugins ), so that its settings are shown in the Unity Inspector
  • Change the settings of QCARWrapper.bundle in the Unity inspector from "Any Platform" to "Standalone".

Is that correct ?

Hi everyone! I found the solution to my error. Only I have to change a parameter into QCARWrapper.bundle in Unity.

I let you the information where I got it in a link below.

the terminal's

xcodebuild -exportArchive -archivePath Unity-iPhone.xcarchive -exportPathMyIPA -exportFormat ipa

does export the app (bypassing XCode code sign error), but then it doesn't install well on the device.. so it' doesnt work :(
