Cool, now check this thread out

Because two of those don't do what they say.

What is World Center Mode ?

The World Center Mode allows specifying how the World reference frame is set during target / trackable tracking;

In Vuforia 4.0 and 4.2, it can be set to one of these 3 options, by selecting the relevant option in the inspector of the ARCamera (in the Unity Editor):

- FIRST_TARGET:  the World is fixed with respect to the first detected target; for eample, suppose you have a "chips" and a "stones" image target and the first target that Vuforia detects is "chips"; this means that the World will be rigidally linked to the "chips" target object in your scene (so, the "chips" target will maintain its relative position with respect to the scene); the ARCamera will instead constantly change / adjust its own position and orientation in the scene so to reflect its relative position to the "chips" target;  in practice, the "chips" target will act as a sort of "fixed anchor" into the scene;  any other target (e.g. "stones") which is detected after the first target, will also be relative to the first target, i.e. it's world position may not be the same as it was in the Editor scene, but it will vary depending on the relative position w.r.t. the first target

- SPECIFIC_TARGET: same as FIRST_TARGET, except here you explicitly specify (in the Editor) which target is the "anchor" (i.e. it will not be "the first detected one", but the one that you define explicitely)

- CAMERA: in this case the ARCamera is fixed (fixed position and orientation) in the scene, while the Target objects move around it.

It's funny how the original message talks about what the World Center is, but the info on that page talks about device front cameras.

Shame I need info on the former, not the latter.

Link contains a redirect loop and is non-functional.
